World Cup Fever

With the abundance of sports in the coming weeks (World Cup, Tour De France, Wimbledon and Formula One) employers may be struggling with a balance due to leave requests and wanting their businesses to continue for clients and customers as normal.

Some companies may decide to allow breaks to watch sports on the TV (ensuring they have the correct licences). Allowing employees to watch in a designated area in their own time can be quite beneficial as it can create a more relaxed feeling and improve employee relationships. However, not all companies will want to or be able to accommodate this.

It will be for individual employers to decide what is best for their business but creating employee engagement with the Company and each other is a free way of improving your business.
