Our exciting new service for managers and leaders of small businesses

Doodle HR is running a series of bite sized HR, Management and Leadership training modules for managers, leaders and owners of SMEs in the Harrogate area.

Delegates can choose to spend the whole day with our professionally qualified HR trainers, or just select specific training modules.

Included within these sessions is one to one advice and mentoring on HR related issues.

As a follow up leaders and managers can then choose to have individual coaching and mentoring in the specific areas they feel are relevant to themselves and their businesses.

Dealing With Your Employees Training Modules

The full day event comprises of the following five modules:

Performance Management 
Maximising the performance of your workforce – Setup/conduct of appraisals and reviews – Motivating and gaining commitment from the workforce – Effective communication to teams – Setting effective objectives and targets – Creating effective training plans

Dealing with Difficult Employees

Identifying employee issues – Giving feedback on poor performance/misconduct – Giving feedback through structured conversation – Disciplinary and grievance rules – Dealing with sickness and absence issues – Delivering difficult messages

Reward and Recognition 

Deciding on the best pay and benefits for your workforce – Establishing what motivates your employees – Different pay systems – Performance related pay – Non pay rewards: The value of benefits – Recognising and rewarding good employees 

Management and Leadership 

Why good management and leadership is important – Different management styles and how they work – Inspiring your employees to maximise their commitment and performance –  Effective delegation to employees – Coaching techniques

Talent Management

Why is it important to manage your organisations talent? – Formulating a Talent Development process – How to identify Potential – The 70-20-10 Model – Make Talent part of your resourcing strategy

Each Academy module is taught in a 1.5 hour class (maximum of 12 delegates). We teach in stylish, comfortable surroundings and full-day delegates will be provided with a delicious lunch. We offer one-to-one coaching with delegates, between workshop sessions.

Individual Academy modules cost £100 + VAT, or a full day is just £350 + VAT.
